aised in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Bruce Thomas graduated from Whitman College, Walla Walla, Washington, in 1970. Following graduation from law school at the University of Denver in 1974, he served as a law clerk to the Idaho Supreme Court. In 1976, he entered private practice in Boise, Idaho.
In his law practice, Bruce emphasizes business and commercial law, wills, trusts and estate planning, and mediation and arbitration. He is a member of the mediation panels of the Idaho Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for Idaho and serves on the Commercial Mediation Panel, Commercial Arbitration Panel and the Commercial Large, Complex Case Panel of the American Arbitration Association. A co-founder of the ADR Section of the Idaho State Bar, Bruce served as the Section's chair and as a member of its governing council. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Idaho State Bar, Boise Estate Planning Council, and Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution.
He and his wife, Victoria, have three children. They enjoy skiing, back-packing, camping and traveling. Bruce's community activities include service as president of the Idaho Ronald McDonald House and as treasurer for the First Presbyterian Church.
